Welcome! My name is Hilary, though these days I’m better known as Nana.
Wonder & Way began with my granddaughter and a desire to create meaningful resources for her, for the grandchildren still to come, and for other families and friends looking for a little inspiration along the way.
I have always loved the wonderful creatures, beautiful places, and countless little discoveries this world has to offer. I believe childhood should be filled with that kind of wonder—the excitement of learning something new, noticing the beauty around us, asking questions, creating, exploring, and discovering.
And while we want our children to be filled with wonder, we also want to help them find their way.
For our family, that way begins with Jesus Christ. He is the Creator behind the beauty that fills us with wonder, and He is also “the way, the truth, and the life.” As we learn about His creations and about the world around us, I hope we can also help our children come to know Him and follow His way.
Wonder & Way is a place for learning, creating, exploring, and growing together. You’ll find simple ideas, hands-on activities, homeschool resources, and encouragement gathered from many years of teaching children at home.
My hope is that something here helps you bring a little more wonder to their world and a little more light to their way.
